Vision

At St. Ignatius High School

We envision a dynamic and vibrant faith community that embraces the teachings of Jesus Christ and embodies the rich traditions of Ignatian spirituality. Situated in the heart of Santa Elena Town, our Campus Ministry seeks to cultivate a nurturing environment where students not only excel academically but also grow spiritually, emotionally, and socially.

We strive to inspire a generation of compassionate leaders who are committed to serving others, fostering justice, and promoting peace in our local and global communities. Our vision is to empower our students to explore and deepen their relationship with God, encouraging them to engage in meaningful prayer, reflection, and service. We emphasize the importance of discernment in their everyday lives, guiding them to make choices that reflect their faith and values.

Through a variety of programs, retreats, and service opportunities, we aim to instill a sense of belonging and community among our students, faculty, and families, recognizing that we are all part of a larger mission. We envision a campus where diversity is celebrated, where every voice is heard, and where all individuals are valued and respected, fostering an atmosphere of inclusivity and understanding.

In partnership with our faith-filled community, we aspire to create lasting relationships that extend beyond the classroom, equipping our students with the skills and knowledge required to navigate the complexities of our world while remaining grounded in their faith. As they embark on their lifelong journeys, we commit to guiding them in becoming conscientious and ethical decision-makers, ready to contribute to the common good of society.

Ultimately, our vision at St. Ignatius High School’s Campus Ministry is to be a beacon of hope and inspiration, fostering holistic development in every student as they strive to live out their faith with courage and conviction, serving as catalysts for positive change in our world. Together, we hold the promise of a brighter future, grounded in love, service, and a profound sense of purpose.

Natius Family Mass

A Monthly Celebration of Faith

One of the key components of the school’s faith-based programs is the Natius Family Mass, which is celebrated every third Sunday of the month. This gathering brings together students, teachers, parents, and support staff, fostering a sense of community and shared purpose. The Mass offers an opportunity for families to engage in worship together, deepening their connection to God and one another. This sacred time not only nurtures spiritual growth but also reinforces the values of cooperation, respect, and love that are central to the mission of St. Ignatius High School.

Values Program

Building Faith and Leadership

In addition to the monthly Mass, St. Ignatius High School has implemented a comprehensive Values Program designed for faculty and staff. This program serves as a platform for discussions that explore various aspects of life, encompassing family dynamics, student development, and the essential role of faith in leadership. Participants engage in meaningful conversations about cultivating students into disciples of Christ, drawing inspiration from scripture, and understanding the distinct roles of men and women as servant leaders in the community.

By emphasizing the importance of personal engagement with scripture and the teachings of Christ, the Values Program empowers educators to instil those values in their students. The school recognizes the significant impact that teachers can have in shaping the hearts and minds of young people, and this program equips them with the tools to guide students on their spiritual journeys.
